Greg Wilson grew up in the Dallas area and received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a state-approved LPC-Supervisor in the State of Texas, holds masters degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has completed additional graduate study at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Educational Ministry degree in Biblical Counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His doctoral project is aimed at helping churches develop policies and protocols to care for those oppressed by domestic abuse and their oppressors. Greg specializes in counseling adolescents, families, couples and men at Soul Care Associates, an affiliate of North Texas Christian Counseling in Flower Mound, Texas. For over 20 years, he has provided gospel-rich biblical counseling in both individual and group contexts, in pastoral ministry and in private practice. His experience includes marital and premarital counseling, family counseling and reconciliation, adolescent issues, parenting issues, sexual addiction and idolatry, abuse (working primarily with abusive men), and mediation. Greg worked as an investment banker for a number of years prior to being called into full-time vocational ministry. His background in the business community, and as a counselor, youth pastor, teaching pastor and church planter provides a rich palette of experience that Greg brings to his counselees.  Greg has also written articles and book reviews for youthministry360 and the Biblical Counseling Coalition, on issues related to adolescence, youth ministry and biblical counseling. He is a member of the advisory board of the Center for Professional Soul Care of the Association of Biblical Counselors, where he also serves as a curriculum facilitator. Greg currently lives in the Dallas area with his wife and daughter, where they are active covenant members at The Village Church, where he also serves as a deacon of care.  Schedule a counseling appointment with Greg.
